The Ski Area COO Summit
Don't Miss the COO Summit Friday, October 4 at Copper Mountain Resort!
For over 16 years the Summit Chamber has partnered with the local business community to host the unofficial start of the ski season. This Summit County staple features the Chief Operating Officers from the five local ski areas—Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone, and Loveland—who share updates on summer improvements and plans for the winter season.
A packed audience, consisting mainly of local business owners, community leaders, and elected officials, come together to discover the exciting new developments and get “stoked” for the upcoming winter.
Since 2020, the event has been available in a hybrid format, giving ticket holders the choice to attend in person or watch on-demand later the same day. This approach has broadened the audience to include groups who might not have been able to attend in person, such as second homeowners, tourists planning visits, and national or regional ski clubs. Additionally, the virtual option has enabled locals who previously missed out due to sold-out tickets to join in and watch the event.
