At the Summit County Chamber of Commerce, we believe that the magic of the holiday events in Summit County is found in community. And there’s no better way to celebrate than joining your fellow business owners and neighbors!
This holiday season, there’s plenty to enjoy across the county – including the Summit Chamber’s Annual Holiday Party!
Mark your calendars for Monday, December 15th, when Beaver Run’s Imperial Ballroom transforms into the epicenter of holiday cheer and business connections.
Join Us for the Chamber’s Annual Holiday Party
We’re proud to host our Annual Holiday Party at Beaver Run – bringing together the heart of Summit County’s business community for an evening that actually feels like a celebration.
From 5:00 to 7:00 PM, the Imperial Ballroom becomes the go-to spot for community growth and networking.
We’ve made it accessible for everyone. Chamber members pay just $10 (same price for kids), while non-members can join for $20. That’s less than a single après-ski drink at most mountain bars! But the value extends far beyond the delicious food and drinks we’ll be serving.
Bring the whole family! While you’re connecting with other business owners and catching up with clients, your kids will be entertained with holiday crafts from Frosted Flamingo.
And yes, Santa himself makes an appearance, because what’s a holiday party without the big guy?
Parking is FREE in the big lot next to Beaver Run from 4 PM to 9 PM. No circling for spots, no feeding meters, no stress. Just show up ready to celebrate.
Want to help make the night perfect? We’re still looking for volunteers to help with short 45-minute shifts and businesses to donate door prizes. Contact Alex Capel at [email protected] to get involved!
Summit County’s Holiday Calendar is Packed
Once you’ve marked December 15th for our holiday mixer, you’ll want to fill in the rest of your calendar with Summit County’s incredible lineup of festive events.
Frisco Wassail Days
Frisco kicks things off early with Wassail Days, running from November 29 through December 7.
Local businesses compete to create the best wassail recipe, and you get to play judge while shopping for unique gifts. Pick up a “12 Sips of Wassail” card and make an adventure out of sampling your way through downtown.
Lighting of Breckenridge & Race of the Santas
December 6th belongs to Breckenridge! Join the town at the Lighting of Breckenridge and Race of the Santas. Hundreds of Santa look-alikes dash down Main Street before 250,000 LED lights bring downtown alive with holiday magic.
The holiday dog parade and kids’ Moose March add layers of adorable chaos that perfectly capture our mountain spirit.
Mid-December Mountain Magic
Keystone Goods in the Woods
Just two days before our Chamber holiday party, Keystone hosts Goods in the Woods on December 13th.
This artisan holiday market at Warren Station in River Run showcases local makers and craftspeople. This one’s a great place to find those last-minute gifts and handmade treasures you won’t find on any website.
Silverthorne Ice Castles
Imagine exploring some of the most incredible ice sculptures you’ve ever seen – along with ice slides, ice tunnels, and much more. This is a huge event that runs from December through March, and is something you won’t want to miss.
Ullr Fest
Then comes the legendary Ullr Fest, December 18-20. Now in its 62nd year, this celebration of the Norse god of snow might be the most “Summit County” event we have.
The Ullr Fest Main Street parade features Vikings, valkyries, and enough creative costumes to fill a fantasy convention. You won’t want to miss the attempt on the shotski world record (again!).
Rockstar Energy Open
Overlapping with Ullr Fest, the Rockstar Energy Open brings world-class snowboarding to Breckenridge December 19-21.
This three-day festival mixes elite sports with live music and art installations. Red Gerard and other local heroes will be throwing down on rider-designed terrain that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible on a snowboard.
Ring in the New Year Mountain Style
The holiday season crescendos with New Year’s Eve celebrations across the county – and the fun continues right through to 2026!
Breckenridge brings back its townwide fireworks display after a several-year hiatus. Copper Mountain brings torchlight parades with fireworks to Center Village.
Every resort and restaurant has something special planned for December 31st. The key is booking now – because these celebrations sell out fast.
But don’t pack away your party spirit with the Christmas decorations! January brings its own slate of can’t-miss events.
The International Snow Sculpture Championships is coming to Breckenridge from January 24 through February 3.
Keystone’s Winter Bluegrass Weekend on January 30-31 proves that banjos and snow make a surprisingly perfect pair. Warren Station hosts two days of toe-tapping mountain music that’ll warm you from the inside out.
