Created by the Summit Chamber, the Business Excellence Awards (BEAs) celebrate the imagination, innovation, and impact of Summit County’s business owners and operators—the driving force behind our local economy.
This signature annual event does double duty: honoring exceptional local businesses and organizations while creating a high-energy, business-to-business networking experience for more than 200 local professionals.
In 2026, the Summit Chamber will present nine Business Excellence Awards, recognizing excellence across a diverse range of industries and organizational sizes.

Applications for 2025 have closed. Be the first to know when applications open for 2026 by signing up below.
Business applicants may only apply for one award from Categories 1 AND 2. Non-Profit Organizations may only apply for the Non-Profit Program of the Year. Governmental Organizations (local, state, and federal) may only apply for Government Department/Team of the Year. Ben Fogle Chamber Champion is an individual award and will not count towards the business in which the applicant works – that business may still apply for 1 award from Categories 1 and 2.

Applicants DO NOT need to be a member of the Summit Chamber except when applying for the Ben Fogle Chamber Champion of the Year Award. Applicants should conduct business regularly in or be based in Summit County. Winners from 2024 Business Excellence Awards are not eligible to apply for the same category in which they won the year immediately following their win but are encouraged to apply for other awards.
HOW TO APPLY****:
- Download the application from the appropriate category above by completing the form and download the form to your computer. Please note category 1 and 2 have the same application.
- Complete the PDF document and Save it as “Your Company Name”.
- Submit the completed application by 11:59 pm (MT) Wednesday, March 5, 2025 by uploading the completed application file below.
- Look for a confirmation email that your application was received within 1-2 business days.

General Information
The Summit Chamber created the Business Excellence Awards (BEAs) to recognize and celebrate the outstanding efforts, innovation, and accomplishments of Summit County’s business community.
This year’s BEAs will be held on April 3, 2025, at Warren Station in Keystone.
Last year saw a vibrant gathering of over 150 business leaders, marking a sold-out event. The evening kicked off with the Panorama Summit Orthopedics networking reception, which offered guests an opportunity to connect with other local professional while enjoying delectable fare from local favorites Bistro North, Colorado Marketplace & Bakery, and Scrappy’s Pizza.
The highlight of the evening was the ceremony, where nine deserving winners were announced to resounding applause. Following the awards presentation, it was time to party when dueling pianos from Howl at the Moon took the stage.
A standout addition to this year’s event was the Wine & Whiskey Gamble, which garnered enthusiastic participation, raising over $1000 in support of the Summit Chamber’s new “be Local” initiative. This initiative aims to promote sustained backing of local businesses throughout the year.
