2025 Business Excellence Awards

General Information

The Summit Chamber created the Business Excellence Awards (BEAs) to recognize and celebrate the outstanding efforts, innovation, and accomplishments of Summit County’s business community.

This year’s BEAs will be held on April 3, 2025, at Warren Station in Keystone.

Last year saw a vibrant gathering of over 150 business leaders, marking a sold-out event. The evening kicked off with the Panorama Summit Orthopedics networking reception, which offered guests an opportunity to connect with other local professional while enjoying delectable fare from local favorites Bistro North, Colorado Marketplace & Bakery, and Scrappy’s Pizza.

The highlight of the evening was the ceremony, where nine deserving winners were announced to resounding applause. Following the awards presentation, it was time to party when dueling pianos from Howl at the Moon took the stage.

A standout addition to this year’s event was the Wine & Whiskey Gamble, which garnered enthusiastic participation, raising over $1000 in support of the Summit Chamber’s new “be Local” initiative. This initiative aims to promote sustained backing of local businesses throughout the year.

General Information

The Business Excellence Awards were created by the Summit Chamber to recognize and reward the imagination, industriousness, innovation and achievements of business owners and operators in Summit County.

These businesses are the backbone of our community and this event provides an opportunity to showcase and celebrate their contribution to the economic vitality of this Rocky Mountain paradise we call home.

To recognize businesses for their work in 2025, this year’s Summit Chamber Business Excellence Awards will honor businesses in three different categories with a total of nine awards listed below.

Applications

Applications are closed for 2025. To apply in 2026, please check this page in December of 2025 or January of 2026

Please select a Gravity Form

Business applicants may only apply for one award from Categories 1 AND 2. Non-Profit Organizations may only apply for the Non-Profit Program of the Year. Governmental Organizations (local, state, and federal) may only apply for Government Department/Team of the Year. Ben Fogle Chamber Champion is an individual award and will not count towards the business in which the applicant works – that business may still apply for 1 award from Categories 1 and 2.

Applicants DO NOT need to be a member of the Summit Chamber except when applying for the Ben Fogle Chamber Champion of the Year Award. Applicants should conduct business regularly in or be based in Summit County. Winners from 2024 Business Excellence Awards are not eligible to apply for the same category in which they won the year immediately following their win but are encouraged to apply for other awards.

HOW TO APPLY:

Download the application from the appropriate category above by completing the form and download the form to your computer. Please note category 1 and 2 have the same application.
Complete the PDF document and Save it as “Your Company Name”.
Submit the completed application by 11:59 pm (MT) Wednesday, March 5, 2025 by uploading the completed application file below.
Look for a confirmation email that your application was received within 1-2 business days.

Information Session

Any business or organization is welcome to attend an information session hosted by our planning committee to learn more about the awards & how to complete a successful application, plus ask questions. There will be a short presentation at the start of the meeting and then the team will remain on for Q&A.

2025 Winner Prize Package

“Winner’s Circle” professional video shot and edited by High Country Storytelling. The video will be shot at your location in April and is yours to use for marketing your organization! The Summit Chamber will also share it across our social media channels.
Chamber Newsletter: A 500 word feature will be shared in the Summit Chamber email newsletter.
Chamber Social Media Feature: A social media feature will highlight your achievement across multiple Summit Chamber channels.
Your achievement will be highlighted in a blog post on the Summit Chamber website highlighting 2025 winners.
