XFoundation
XFoundation is dedicated to bringing awareness to the Fentanyl Epidemic, hoping no other family will feel this loss and pain. We are doing this by focusing on the following areas:
The difference between Fentanyl Poisoning and Overdoses. Society has a way of labeling most of these unfortunate deaths as overdoses, creating the stigma that the victim was a drug addict and deserved it. They typically look like Percocet or Xanax.Â
We always lead with “Do not do street scripts,” but also realize that people will do them. We educate people on doing them safely. Carry Fentanyl Testing Strips to see if the pills or drug is poisoned, and carry Narcan or Naloxone to revive the victim.Â
We have also become a voice for those that have lost loved ones by Fentanyl poisoning that do not have the strength or courage to face the potential stigma around these senseless and avoidable deaths.Â
The XFoundation is also giving back to the community by supporting local athletic programs and musicians in honor of our Xavier.Â
Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death among U.S. adults. Fentanyl has dramatically changed the drug landscape in America. With a potency 50 times stronger than heroin, its effects have devastated individuals, families, and communities.
